Safely and conveniently transport ice and cold foods with this Polar Temp auto defrost refrigerated ice transport with trailer transport! Featuring 3" thick, foamed-in-place, CFC-free polyurethane insulation, this refrigerated unit is sure to keep your items cold during transport. Its front-mounted forced-air refrigeration system helps maintain proper cabinet temperature. Available with standard defrost or auto-defrost function keep it simple. Features reinforced truck-type hinges, a lockable door latch, and a heavy gauge smooth aluminum floor plate for added durability. A heavy-duty white polyester finish protects the unit from severe environments.

This refrigerated unit comes with a trailer, allowing you to securely move units between destinations when making deliveries or transporting orders. Its dual-axle system features springs and equalizers to aid in keeping all four tires in contact with the road at all times, while also including electric brakes. This trailer comes with ST235/80R16 range E tires, and the steel belt tires are used to match trailer capacity.

Featuring a heavy-duty tubular steel chassis with steel angle cross members, this trailer is able to withstand heavy use and boasts a 14,000 lb. capacity. (2) 7,000 lb. axles with electric brakes. The hitch includes a 2 5/16" ball, and the trailer also comes with safety chains to ensure safe transportation! The side-wind tongue jack with foot is located at the hitch, allowing for easy raising and lowering. With safety at the forefront of this trailer, it includes a Break-a-Way kit, which activates the trailer brakes if the unit is separated from the towing vehicle.

Chassis Paint

Diamond Plate Trailer Tongue
All refrigerated trailers come with a diamond plate trailer tongue to help secure the frame and provide an optimal area for other mounted features, such as an electric generator or toolbox.

Safety Chains
Used with the breakaway system in the event of accidental disconnection between the trailer hitch and the pulling vehicle, the safety chains will “catch” the disconnected trailer and provide the driver with enough time to retain control and come to a stop. Safety chains are secured in an ‘X’ pattern underneath the hitching point to allow the trailer hitch to be “caught” by the chains.

Steel Frame Frame
Our refrigerated trailers are paired with strong, durable steel trailer frames that help keep the trailer and its contents secure.

Trailer Jacks
For connections, the hitch trailer ball must be firmly secured underneath the hitching point of the trailer. To facilitate connecting and disconnecting the trailer to the pulling vehicle, a trailer jack is used to adjust the height of the hitching point of the trailer. When the trailer is not connected to a vehicle, the trailer jack is used to help keep the trailer level.

Wheels & Tires
Trailer-specific tires are designed to have more stability and a higher loading capacity than the regular tires that you may find on your towing vehicle. With a stiffer and thicker construction, trailer tires help reduce trailer sway, are more stable and are better suited to the wear and tear of being pulled around while being weighed down.

Temperature Guage
When you open the door, warm air entering the unit will cause the internal temperature to increase and cause the refrigeration system to start. An external temperature gauge helps you monitor the internal temperature of your refrigerated trailer without having to open the unit door.
